House Of Heritage Returns, Refunds, Exchanges, And Cancellation Policy
House of Heritage specializes in authentic Indian handmade Meenakari products. Due to the handcrafted nature of these items, slight variations and imperfections are part of their uniqueness and are not considered defects. Refunds or returns will only be accepted for products that are damaged during shipping. We do not offer refunds for general quality-related complaints, subjective preferences, or minor variations inherent to handmade craftsmanship.
- As all our products are handcrafted and manually finished, minor variations in fit, closure, alignment, dimensions, finish, color, and functionality may occur. Concerns that do not affect the intended use, safety, or core functionality of the product, and which can be resolved through product guidance provided by our team, shall not be considered manufacturing defects and will not qualify for return, replacement, or refund.
- Please note that slight variations in the tightness of the locking clips are normal and are part of the product's secure closure design. Tiffins returned due to preference regarding lock tightness, where the product is otherwise functional and undamaged, will not be eligible for return or refund.
- Minor variations in the tightness of locking clips may occur due to handling, packaging, or transit. Where the product remains functional and the clip fit can be restored using the guidance provided by our team, such cases shall not be treated as manufacturing defects and will not qualify for return, replacement, or refund.
- Minor variations in the fit of removable inner containers may occur due to handling and transit. Where the product remains fully functional and the fit can be restored using the guidance provided by our team, such cases will not be considered manufacturing defects and will not qualify for return or refund.
All our product are handmade in India. If any black polish is found on the surface of a stainless steel box (rather than discoloration within the metal), you can usually remove it with progressively stronger methods:
- Warm soapy water – Wash with dish soap and a soft sponge to remove any grease or loose residue.
- Baking soda paste – Mix baking soda with a little water to form a paste. Rub gently with a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge, then rinse.
- White vinegar or lemon juice – Apply for 2–5 minutes to loosen oxidation or polish residue, then wipe clean and rinse thoroughly.
We would be pleased to provide you the following options if your items are damaged or you receive the wrong product:
- You can exchange the items for a replacement of equal value.
- Give you a refund of the purchase amount you made after deducting shipping charge.
Products under Clearance Sale and items priced below ₹500 are not eligible for return or exchange.
Your item must be brand-new and in the same condition as you received it in order to be eligible for a return. Additionally, it must be in its original packing.
Several products, including the following, are exempt from returns:
Un-returnable goods:
Gift certificates, products for health and personal care, paper goods like jewellery and purses, soft toys and fabrics less than one meter.
Ceramic Products returns are only accepted if the product is received damaged or broken due to our error. No other returns or exchanges will be accepted.
Return Procedure:
Within 7 days of the date of delivery, get in touch with our staff by using the website's contact form, sending an email to hello@houseofheritage.in, or giving us a whatsApp message at 81042 58749.
Any email you get from House of Heritage can be replied to, and someone will contact you to take your request.
If a replacement is available, the damaged/unused product will be recalled and shipped right away.
Consumers are responsible for paying return fees.

Method of Refund:
Please contact us at hello@houseofheritage.in if you desire to return an item and would need a refund or replacement. We will process your refund within 15 days of receiving the returned items at our warehouse. Please send us a picture of the damaged or defective item through email if you received one. Within 15 working days, we will try our utmost to process refund requests.
Who will be responsible for the return shipping costs?
The cost of return postage will not be covered by House of Heritage. Once the products are returned and are in our warehouse, we can give refunds or replacements. We admonish you to think carefully before placing an order.
How will I get my money back?
We will send you the refund or replacement once we have confirmed your return/refund request. Your original bank account will get your money once more. If you want to pay by COD, you can also choose a direct bank transfer via NEFT.
How can I make a House of Heritage.in order cancellation?
We will fully reimburse you for your purchase price if you cancel your order before your product ships. If you placed your order using COD, we'll just cancel it.
For cancellation requests, e-mail hello@houseofheritage.in. You can also respond to any emails the House of Heritage team sends you regarding your order, and we'll take care of it as quickly as we can.
You can take one of the following actions if the cancellation request is received after your product has been shipped:
- Call our staff and we'll recall your order if your product has shipped but hasn't yet been delivered.
- If you've already received the item, you can mail it to our warehouse, and we'll give you a refund as soon as we receive it.
Can I return or cancel a portion of my order?
It is possible to cancel or refund a portion of your order. Include your order number in an email to hello@houseofheritage.in. If necessary, we'll comply with our refund policy.
What occurs to orders placed during a SALE?
We will not accept any claims for refunds, exchanges, or replacements if your order includes items that are on sale. All things on sale are final sale.
